Moody selected in 2nd Round of Scorers 1st Showcase

On July 13 and 14, 2016 the 7th Annual Scorers 1st Showcase returns to Las Vegas, Nevada on the campus of UNLV at the MPE South Gym, located just steps away from the Thomas & Mack Center and home of the NBA Summer League. Former Bethune-Cookman University Forward, Mario Moody was the second player off the board in the second round of Tuesday’s draft. Selections were made by the showcase’s coaching staff, coming from all around the world to lead their teams.

The Scorers 1st Showcase has become a successful two-day event that features professional coaches from around Europe and the NBA Developmental League (NBA D-League) who provide training, development and lead exposure games (six per day) where players can showcase their talents and network with professional scouts, head coaches, and general managers from around the world looking to round out their rosters for the 2016-17 season.
